Preschool Cook

The Goddard School of Carmel (Westfield), IN is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to our students.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals that meet USDA food guide guidelines, including following recipes, measuring ingredients, and cooking methods.
• Food Storage: Store food safely and hygienically, adhering to local health unit guidelines.
• Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Sanitation: Ensure compliance with sanitation requirements to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Food Service: Deliver meals to classrooms and serve food in a hygienic manner.
• Inventory Management: Accurately track and order supplies as needed.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with grocery shopping, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.

• Food Handling License (bonus if obtained prior to hire)
