Seeking Physical Therapists for the 2024-2025 School Year

ProCare Therapy is thrilled to collaborate with a top school district in Greene, MEto hire a committed Physical Therapist for the current school year. This role provides the opportunity to significantly impact students' well-being and development in a nurturing educational environment. Position Details:

  • Part-time
  • On-site
  • Full 24/25 school year

Job Description:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students within a school setting.
  • Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using various techniques and modalities to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' physical development and independence.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate care.
  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards as per state regulations and school policies.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is essential.
  • Must hold PT licenses and teaching certifications for Maine.
  • Proven proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • W-2 Employment Contract
  • $50-60/hr
  • Full-time employees eligible for ProCare's benefits package

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
