We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team part-time in Detroit, MI. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients with a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy that enhances patients' communication skills and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Provide direct therapy to patients of various ages, including pediatric and adult populations.
- Educate and support patients and families with therapy goals and techniques.
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current SLP license in the state of Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
