Warehouse Worker

Paying $20 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Will be pulling orders downstairs in the basement of the hospitals with supplies that go to doctors, nurses, and techs. Product that they could be pulling are gloves, boxes of needles, surgical supplies, masks, gowns, and other ppe as needed.
  • Will be the ones making sure the product is fully stocked in the warehouse and replenishing it once fully picked through.
  • Walking throughout the hospital hand delivering to certain areas of the hospital such as ER department, surgical offices and rooms, etc.
  • Place materials on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
  • From time to time will help assemble certain parts if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in a team rich environment that has 20+ employees working on a daily basis.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Be on their feet for the whole duration of the shift (8 hrs+).
  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Comfortable using a computer to input data through EPIC.

Environment/ Shift:

  • Will be working all throughout the hospital with all the order picking being downstairs in the basement and working out on the dock where trucks pull up trailers.
  • This person will be working all throughout the hospital and interacting with nurses, doctors, techs, and other hospital staff.
  • Will sometimes interact with a patient if they say hello or something like this to them.
  • Must be open to wearing a scrub top and any other proper PPE that is given to them depending on the certain areas of the hospital.
  • Day shift: 6am-2:30 pm (Mon-Fri while training for the first 2-3 weeks). Once training has been completed, then they will move to a Tue-Sat shift with the same 6am shift start time.
  • MUST be open to working OT when needed. You can't leave until the job is done.
