Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Old Bridge, NJ

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our school team in Old Bridge, NJ. The RBT will work directly with students who have behavioral challenges, helping them to develop essential skills and improve their social interactions.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Completion of a Registered Behavior Technician training program.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising behavior analyst.
  • Monitor student progress and document behavioral data.
  • Assist students with daily living skills and academic tasks.
  • Provide support during social interactions and help improve peer relationships.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance the learning environment.

Certifications:

  • RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and empathy towards students with special needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or therapeutic setting, is preferred.
