Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is integral to our organization's financial operations and will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including managing Accounts Payable & Receivable, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, monthly close and bookkeeping. If you are a skilled and ambitious accountant with a knack for detail and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable & Receivable management, budgeting and monthly close.
2. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with GAAP.
3. Develop regular financial statements and conduct budget-to-actual analysis.
4. Prepare cash forecasts and manage cash flow to ensure financial sustainability.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping.
6. Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
7. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
8. Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
9. Collaborate with team members to achieve financial and company goals.
10. Participate in financial audits and work closely with external auditors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
4. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
5. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
7. Proven experience in cash management and cash flow forecasting.
8. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
9. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
