Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist / Expense Report Expert to join our clients team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive hourly rate of $27 to $31. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-volume accounts payable processing and be a subject matter expert in handling employee travel expenses and reimbursements through ERP programs or Concur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Review and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and process employee travel expenses and reimbursements through ERP systems or Concur.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic payments and check runs.
- Maintain vendor files and handle vendor inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in high-volume accounts payable processing.
- Expertise in processing employee travel expenses and reimbursements through ERP systems or Concur.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
