Associate Attorney

Our client, a highly respected multi-service law firm is seeking a Matrimonial/Family Law Associate Attorney, to join their winning team in Orange County.

Our candidate of choice will bring a minimum of three (3) years of Family Law experience to join our growing firm. You will have extensive knowledge in the areas of contested and uncontested divorces, custody and support cases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to build rapport with clients maintaining excellent client relations and work in a collaborative atmosphere.
• Drafting motions, conducting depositions, appearance at court conferences and trials, along with ability to manage a file from start to finish.
• Excellent writing and courtroom skills along with outstanding negotiation skills.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a current license to practice in New York State.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and PerfectLaw preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite at our Walden, NY office.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Admitted to the NJ State Bar, in good standing and accessible to NJ courts.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
