Estate Planning Specialist

Our client, a highly respected law firm in Orange County, seeks an experienced Trust & Estates Associate Attorney to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Estate Planning: Consult with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives for estate planning, drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents in accordance with client instructions and applicable laws.
- Trust Administration: Assist trustees and beneficiaries with the administration of trusts, including asset management and distribution.
- Probate Process: Guide clients through the probate process, from validating wills to resolving disputes among heirs or beneficiaries.
- Long-Term Care and Medicaid Planning: Address legal issues affecting older adults, such as long-term care and Medicaid planning and guardianship proceedings.
- Trust and Estate Litigation: Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, including will contests and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in good standing.
- 3 – 5 years of experience practicing Trust and Estate Planning.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to draft and review estate plans for clients, from simple to complex and advanced estate, gift, and tax plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Admitted to the NJ State Bar, in good standing and accessible to NJ courts.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
