We are in search of a skilled HR Generalist to join our client's team located in the Plainfield, New Jersey area. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including benefits administration, compliance with local, state, and federal agencies, payroll assistance, and heavy reporting duties.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee benefits administration, ensuring all employee benefits are properly managed and processed.

• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal agencies, staying updated with any changes in regulations and implementing them accordingly.

• Provide assistance in payroll processing, acting as a backup when necessary.

• Conduct monthly audits to ensure all records and processes are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle special requests and produce reports as needed by the Executive Leadership Team.

• Manage heavy weekly, biweekly, and monthly reporting responsibilities, ensuring all data is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to produce detailed payroll reports.

• Ensure the accurate processing of benefit repayments when employees return from leave.

• Assist in employee relations, acting as a point of contact for any HR-related inquiries or issues.

• Utilize various HR systems such as ADP for efficient management and reporting.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven time management skills, capable of working independently and effectively managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Excel is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other related software is required.
  • Experience with HRIS and ADP systems is advantageous.
