Speech-Language Pathologist Positions Available (Full-time/Part-time) in Independence, OR

Introduction: We are thrilled to offer both full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions in Independence, OR. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic professionals to join a supportive school environment dedicated to fostering student communication and language development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address individual student needs and integrate seamlessly with their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and effective communication strategies.
  • Regularly evaluate student progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and training to school personnel and families to enhance support for students outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid Oregon SLP license or eligibility.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in pediatric or school settings is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
