Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, you will provide strong leadership by training, motivating, and developing team members while ensuring the overall performance of specific production lines. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong leadership through training, motivating, and developing team members.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain training procedures.
  • Ensure employee retention goals are met through recruiting, selection, orientation, training, and development.
  • Complete employee performance reviews and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures regarding health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure production goals are met through scheduling, prioritization, troubleshooting, and production control.
  • Collaborate with Line Manager, other supervisors, and support departments to establish production priorities and plans.
  • Balance the production schedule with available resources to achieve on-time production goals.
  • Ensure efficient production to meet scrap and OEE goals.
  • Possess high-level knowledge of all department processes, including material handling, quality testing, and emergency procedures.
  • Inspect the overall quality of produced products and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in R&D trials.

Work Environment

Our 180,000 sq. ft. plant in Shalersville, Ohio, will break ground in November 2023 and is expected to be operational in early 2025. The facility will maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, with a focus on 6S activities. Employees may be required to work different shifts as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $83200.00
