Forklift Operator

The warehouse associate performs a variety of picking, staging, and organizing tasks. This position requires a complete and working understanding of the production and shipping schedule.
Responsibilities- Receive trucks and unload goods ordered.
- Check items to be received against the receiving ticket to ascertain that material and quantities are correct.
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase order and/or receiving ticket to verify accuracy.
- Work with FedEx Ship Manager when needed.
- Inspect incoming goods for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify purchasing and quality control personnel.
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
- Organize materials in the warehouse and cooler, including stock rotation.
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, MHE equipment.
- Assist inventory control with any material issues and/or locating product in the warehouse and/or cooler.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- Lead, guide, and train employees performing related work.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with GMPs
- RF Scanner experience
- Experience working with FedEx shipping software
- Experience handling inventory
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
