Partners Personnel has teamed up with a produce distribution company in Lake Hamilton, FL We are seeking production workers for packing and forklift positions. If you're ready for immediate work and can interview tomorrow, call today to get started

 

Positions:

  • Distribution Packers
  • Heavy Load Stacker/Palletizer
  • Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Shift: 1st shift

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm (up to 5pm or 9pm on busy days)

Pay: $13.50 - $17.50

Schedule: Monday - Friday and Saturdays

Location: Lake Hamilton, FL.

Job Duties:

  • Examine fruits and vegetables for defects such as bruises, discoloration, or damage, and classify them into appropriate grades.
  • Package fruits and vegetables into boxes or crates, ensuring proper protection for safe transport.
  • Perform quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards for size, weight, and condition before sealing and labeling.
  • Organize and stack packaged produce onto pallets, arranging items to maintain stability and ensure efficient use of space.
  • Ensure proper weight distribution on pallets to prevent tipping or damage.
  • Use stretch film or shrink wrap to secure palletized products, preparing them for safe transport.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts (both propane and electric) to move pallets of produce, raw materials, or finished products within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, placing pallets securely and preventing damage during transit.

Requirements:

· 1-2 years of sit-down propane or electric forklift experience for the Sit down role

· Manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus

· Ability to lift, move, and stand for long periods of time.
