Special Education Teacher - Windsor Locks, Connecticut

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT, for the 2024-2025 school year.

Start/End: ASAP/ June 13th (Tentative, based on snow days)
Hours: M-F, 36.5 Hrs/Week
Caseload: 12-14 Students - Further details provided in Interview
Pay: $35-40

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of special education services for assigned students.
  • Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with educators, parents, and service providers.
  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet students' unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student inclusion and success.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Advocate for students' needs and ensure appropriate accommodations and services are provided.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment
