$100,000 - $120,000 + performance-based commissions
Responsibilities:- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses
- Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
- Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
- Lead high-value personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including preparing for and attending trials and mediations.
- Mentor junior attorneys and staff, sharing your litigation expertise and guiding them through the legal process.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
- Argue motions in court and represent clients in all aspects of legal proceedings.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant state, local, and federal statutes to provide the best possible legal counsel.
- Collaborate with other senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and ensure exceptional client service.
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations
- 5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field
- Experienced Litigator: At least 5 years of experience managing personal injury cases in trials and mediations.
- Leadership & Mentorship: A natural mentor with a track record of coaching junior attorneys and collaborating with colleagues.
- Independent & Driven: Capable of handling your own caseload with minimal supervision, while maintaining excellent time management.
- Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to advocate for clients with compassion and diligence.
- Licensed in Colorado: Must be in good standing with the State Bar and licensed to practice in Colorado.
