Job Description

Responsible for the management of the blending plan, tank farm management, scale-up of developed formulas, and assist in the design of systems and processes for maintaining a top-tier blending operation. This role involves interaction with customers during validation of systems and processes, as well as training and development of the Wet Process Tech/Blending team. The position works closely with Quality, Sales/Marketing, and others to ensure all contract blending operations satisfy internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the water purification system and processes.
• Ensure that internal and external customer production schedules are met on time and at specification.
• Participate in customer and site production planning meetings.
• Ensure all blending systems operate at standard cycle times and waste levels.
• Master product/technology knowledge for the field of application and use this knowledge to advise and coach colleagues.
• Orchestrate the Contract Blending Operation in a proactive manner.
• Maintain a high level of visibility.
• Instill a benchmark level of record-keeping and housekeeping in the lab and blending areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in the Sciences is preferred.
• 3-5 years of Chemical Manufacturing Experience.
• Previous Leadership experience.
