Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines from top manufacturers, including Volvo-hire position with potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diesel Engine Repair & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on Volvo and other diesel engines.
  • Pump Rebuilds: Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild diesel fuel pumps and other related components.
  • Hydraulic Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose issues in hydraulic systems, test hydraulic components, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Diagnostic Tool Usage: Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess engine performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance services to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
Hard Skills & Qualifications:
  • Engine Maintenance and Repair: Strong experience with Volvo diesel engines, or similar brands.
  • Pump Rebuilds: Hands-on experience with diesel pump rebuilds.
  • Hydraulic Systems: Expertise in hydraulic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess engine health.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve engine and hydraulic system issues quickly.
  • Safety: Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with safety guidelines.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and hydraulic components.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for engine diagnostics and performance testing.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
