Qualified applicants must have experience working as a Diesel Mechanic. Applicants must have experience working on diesel truck engines, heavy equipment and must a minimum of 3 years of experience. All applicants must have their own tools.

Duties:
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • Read and interpret diagnostice test results to identify mechanical issues.
  •  Preform basic maintenance, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
  • Inspect vehicles, including the engine, transmission, steering, brake systems and lighting systems. -Maintaining the cleanliness of the workplace.
  • Self-motivated person required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a diesel mechanic with a minimum 3 years of experience or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of diesel mechanic techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to read work orders, using techinal manuals and charts to plan work procedures.
  • Skilled in welding. - Keeps detailed records of all vechicles serviced.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
