Full-time School Nurse (RN) For Short-term Position - Johnston, RI
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Johnston, RI area. This position was created to cover a medical leave until November. We are actively interviewing, so apply today

Job Type:

  • Full-time: 8am-3pm, 35 hours a week Monday-Friday only
  • ASAP - November 2024
  • Competitive weekly pay


Description of Position:

  • This is a transitions program with students ranging from age 18-22.
  • There are about 15 students in the program but most of them don't have nursing needs.
  • There are about 3-4 students with health care plans.
  • Would report to the High School Nurse Teacher.
  • The assignment includes community-based support, for example when students go to job sites.
  • Would also need to ride the bus. This could add up to one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon depending on the bus run.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active RI Registered Nurse (RN) license is required to qualify .
