Key Responsibilities:
- Administer effective therapy to patients with cardiopulmonary, neurological, or metabolic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal treatment plans and adjust care as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory procedures and care management.
- Perform critical cardiopulmonary care functions, including diagnostic evaluations and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold department standards for patient care.
- Proactively monitor environmental conditions and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Build strong professional relationships with the medical staff, demonstrating sound judgment, professionalism, and empathy.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Completion of a Respiratory Care Program approved by the American Medical Association.
- Certificate of Registration as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Oregon.
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification (required within 3 months of hire).
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required within 6 months of hire).
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on patient education and care.
