Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction project management. Ideally working with restaurant build outs. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning and design to execution and completion. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Will be required to be on the field doing site visits and providing updates to clients.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage construction projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project plans, specifications, and technical requirements.
Develop and manage project schedules using software such as Microsoft Project, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Oversee the procurement process, including soliciting bids, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, taking appropriate actions to control costs and maximize efficiency.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and cost estimates.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Utilize project management software tools such as Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and others to streamline project processes and enhance collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, highly desirable but not required***
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, or Bluebeam, or other relevant construction software.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a commitment to delivering projects to the highest standards.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce compliance to ensure a safe working environment.
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) certification are highly desirable but not required***
