Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Description:

  • Grind and blend defect areas on castings and blend welds to blueprint tolerances.
  • Review x-ray/inspection paperwork, sketches, and blueprints to determine grinding requirements.
  • Blend and rework repaired areas to specified tolerances.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Candidates with previous grinding, deburring, or buffing experience are ideal.
  • Open to candidates with experience using hand and power tools, mechanically inclined, and manufacturing/construction experience.
  • Training is provided onsite.
  • Please ask if the candidate is able or willing to train on another shift if required.

Must Have:

  • Comfortable working in a physical position.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30-50 lbs.

Likes to Have:

  • Grinding experience or working knowledge of grinding tools or equipment.
  • Experience working in metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, etc.
  • Hand and power tool experience.
  • Blueprint experience is a plus.
