Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an opportunity for a Tax Preparer to work with us in our POWELL, Ohio location. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities in the field of tax preparation and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Use Drake Tax Software to prepare individual tax returns accurately
• Handle accounting functions related to tax preparation and customer accounts
• Assist customers in understanding their allowances and deductions
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries promptly
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer and tax records
• Update and monitor customer accounts regularly
• Ensure compliance with federal tax return guidelines
• Assist customers in filing individual tax returns.• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer
• Proficient in using Drake Tax Software
• Solid understanding of accounting functions
• Knowledge of tax allowances and how to apply them
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in data entry tasks
• Familiarity with deductible items and their correct application
• Demonstrated experience in tax preparation
• Skilled in preparing individual tax returns
• Experience with federal tax return preparation
