DCS is looking for a skilled Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our innovative team working on cutting-edge technology. This position requires a highly adaptable individual comfortable working independently or within a small team. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack web development with a focus on secure deployment practices.

Essential Job Functions:

Design, develop, test, and deploy secure web applications either individually or as part of a small team.

Work comfortably in a Linux-based environment.

Develop dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular and create intuitive UI/UX with CSS or equivalent technologies.

Build and maintain web servers, ideally using NodeJS and frameworks such as KOA (or similar).

Manage databases, particularly MySQL or equivalent relational databases. Experience with non-relational databases is a plus.

Collaborate on data pipelines and back-end processes, with experience in Python, Perl, or similar languages being highly desirable.

Work with technologies related to natural language processing (NLP), optical character recognition (OCR), automatic speech recognition (ASR), information extraction, machine translation, or linguistics, which will be considered a strong advantage.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline and at least 5 years of related experience.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Proficiency in Angular web development.

Experience with NodeJS and frameworks like KOA or equivalent.

Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.

Hands-on experience with CSS and related web development tools.

Comfortable working in Linux environments.

Required Skills:

Experience with Python, Perl, or complex data pipelines.

Familiarity with non-relational databases.

Knowledge in NLP, OCR, ASR, information extraction, machine translation, or linguistics is a plus.
