Recertification Specialist

MUST have: 1+ years of LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit experience, and Income Verification experience.

Our client in Albany, NY is looking for a hardworking, motivated Recertification Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Property Support experience, along with excellent customer service, organizational, and problem/resolutions skills.

What will you be doing?

• Provide exceptional Customer Service to residents.
• Assisting in the day-to-day operations for a 210 apartment community. 
• Provide clerical support, responding to residents' inquires. Resolving resident's complaints.
• Processing rent checks and subsidies, monitoring accounts, and managing evictions processes/collections.
• Maintain ap/ar filings, scanning documents, answering phones, directing calls, and returning voicemails.
• Maintain expert knowledge of applicable funding programs and current compliance changes from government and syndicate agencies.

What do you bring?

• 2+ years Property Support experience.
• MUST have: 1+ years of LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit experience, and Income Verification experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work well with others and multitask.
