Position Overview

The Bilingual Registered Nurse Wellness Coach plays a vital role in promoting health and wellness among employees. This position emphasizes personalized coaching, health promotion initiatives, and effective clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individualized coaching sessions to address members' health needs.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster engagement and support health improvement.
  • Provide onsite assistance to help members recognize opportunities for behavior modification to enhance their health status.
  • Deliver health education through various formats, including group presentations and creative activities.
  • Follow up with participants to ensure engagement in wellness programs and assess future educational needs.

Health Promotion Activities

  • Educate employees about available wellness programs and resources.
  • Enhance awareness and visibility of health initiatives.
  • Organize wellness events and campaigns.
  • Travel to designated locations for program delivery.

Clinical Functions and Telehealth Services

  • Prepare and maintain mobile clinical units with necessary supplies.
  • Travel to scheduled sites for clinical service delivery.
  • Assist patients in preparing for virtual consultations.
  • Conduct CLIA waived testing and manage lab draws.
  • Document patient information accurately in the system.
  • Administer biometric tests and vaccines.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the respective state, with the ability to maintain licensure.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in health education and wellness coaching is preferred.
  • Strong client service skills and a positive role model for healthy behaviors.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks with excellent computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • High energy level with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in one-on-one coaching.
  • Familiarity with virtual health services.
  • Passion for health improvement and patient education.
  • Strong technical skills.
