Job Title: Shop Technician

United Petroleum Transports is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shop Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Shop Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Promote a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace equipment components as needed, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: ASE Brake certification (or willingness to obtain within 180 days).
  • Skills: Basic mechanics skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
