Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Ortho Trauma Surgery team at CHRISTUS St. Vincent. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist surgeons with surgical cases, and perform selective medical services under the direction of physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first call assistance to ortho trauma surgeons
  • Round on all inpatients and prepare patients for timely discharge
  • Assist surgeons with surgical cases and perform selective medical services
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a program for Physician Assistants approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) of the American Medical Association or graduation from a National League for Nursing (NLN) approved program for Nurse Practitioners
  • Current licensure and certification required by the State of New Mexico to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current DEA License and Current BLS certification
