Job Title: Data Analyst Internship

ISO New England is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our Market Monitoring Department. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our team to monitor wholesale market outcomes and market participant behavior.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of interactive dashboards in R using various packages and extensions.
  • Develop insightful metrics and screens to gauge the performance of the market.
  • Analyze market results and market participant behavior.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to research, document, and share new knowledge resources to build team understanding of new functionality and methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others on a team.
  • Programming experience with SAS and/or R in data processing, data visualization, data analytics, and interactive dashboard development is a plus.
