Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals at i4 Search Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and screenings of patients
• Record and review patient medical histories and symptoms
• Facilitate new patient consultations and health history reviews
• Develop and implement patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests, including bloodwork
• Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems and recommend treatment options
• Monitor and operate medical equipment, administering medicine and other treatments as needed
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Detect changes in patient health and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Provide after-care and ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families
• Consult with healthcare professionals and families to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Train patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results, immunizations, and condition changes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting
• Active RN license within the State of practice
• Current certifications (variable depending on the facility)
• Prescriptive authorization
• Experience providing primary care as a family nurse practitioner
• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses
• Proficient in EHR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems
• Sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of disease prevention
