The ED has 12 beds, a triage room, and a group hold room for 4 people. The annual visit volume is 22,500, with a 9% admission rate from the ED. ED scribe coverage is available 12 hours a day.
Qualifications- Active New Mexico license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be residency trained and BE/BC in EM, FM, or IM
- Active BLS, ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
Carlsbad is a city located in the Chihuahuan Desert on the Pecos River at an elevation of 3,295 feet. The city has tree-lined streets, public parks, and recreation areas, including the municipal beach and greenway along Lake Carlsbad. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is located 18 miles southwest of the city, and Guadalupe Mountains National Park is 40 miles further southwest across the Texas border.
