Join Our Team as a Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Platforms Technology team at Capital One. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies, including Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. You will collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker, frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Angular and a variety of AWS tools and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, TypeScript or Python
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile practices
