Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Periodontology: A Key Role in Academic Excellence

The University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Periodontology. This is a salaried full-time (1.0 FTE) position that requires a strong commitment to academic excellence and clinical teaching.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Teaching: Provide high-quality clinical instruction to predoctoral students in Periodontology and residents in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology.
- Course Administration: Prepare and deliver academic offerings, including lectures, seminars, and case presentations.
- Service and Research: Participate in faculty, resident, and student research projects conducted by the Division of Periodontology, and serve on School of Dentistry and University committees as appointed by the Director of the Division of Periodontology.
- Faculty Practice: Participate in intramural faculty practice or extramural private practice, as available.
- Education: DDS, DMD, or international equivalent degree.
- Licensure: Minnesota dental license or eligibility for Minnesota dental license by start of position.
- Advanced Education: Completion of a CODA or CDAC accredited advanced education training program in periodontics.
- Authorization: Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
