Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Campus Dining Operations Assistant to join our team at New York Institute of Technology. This is a 9-month full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food, beverages, and non-food items to dining locations on both the Long Island and NYC campuses. This includes daily deliveries to Residence Halls, executing catering orders, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food, beverages, and non-food items to designated locations
• Execute catering orders according to Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Notify management when inventory levels are low or damaged

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen setting preferred
• Valid Class A NYS Driver's License required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
