Job Title: Architect Lead

About the Role:

Capital Group is seeking an experienced Architect Lead to join our team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements
  • Lead and develop architectural point of view to drive decisions and discussions
  • Engage closely with IT and GSTA partners to increase adoption of CG Enterprise Standards and Architecture Design Principles
  • Identify opportunities for process rationalization, automation, and data-driven decision making
  • Mentor, coach, motivate, and influence embedded architects and other solution engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field with a technical lean
  • Experience with or awareness of technologies such as AWS Cloud Capabilities, Kubernetes, Micro Services, React, Kafka, Java, C#, Relational Databases, No-SQL/MongoDB, Tomcat, IIS, Spring MVC,.NET framework, Hibernate, and Operating systems: LINUX/UNIX and Windows server operating systems
  • Investment business acumen and related experience in business environment of Investment Operations
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and approach complex assignments in a pragmatic manner
  • Experience in creating or enhancing data management, data modeling, and information architecture and related field best practices
  • Ability to engage business partners in a consultative manner and turn business concepts into well-designed technology solutions
  • Agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences to enable rapid business growth
  • Recognized as a strong technical leader with a passion for mentorship
