- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Physical Therapists

- Ability to pass a criminal background check

- Collaborative approach to working with healthcare professionals
- Enhance patients' physical capabilities by conducting therapy sessions and overseeing therapy staff in various activities, including referrals, evaluations, and treatment planning.
- Perform regular screenings to assess patients' needs for intervention.
- Establish personalized treatment schedules in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Create comprehensive treatment plans that outline specific goals and methods for achieving them.
- Coordinate treatment strategies with patients, families, and team members.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress, adjusting as necessary based on physician directives.
- Develop community or home-based programs to support patient independence.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual patient needs.
- Provide training on adaptive devices and ensure proper usage by patients and families.
- Participate in discharge planning and supervise therapy assistants and aides.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Exhibit professionalism and positive relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting and assisting patients.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and moving patients safely.
- Visual and auditory acuity to ensure patient safety.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
