Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Elementary Education Specialist to join our team at Paramount Schools of Excellence. As a key member of our educational community, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and educational experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Leadership: Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of settings, including whole-class, small group, and individualized instruction.
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Utilize data and educational frameworks to inform instruction and ensure delivery of standards-driven education to all students.
  • Assessment and Grading: Complete assessments, grading, and planning in a timely and accurate manner, including conferences with students, staff, and families.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members, including team leads, elite teachers, and special education staff, to identify and support students with exceptional needs.
  • Classroom Management: Ensure effective classroom management and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and functional behavioral assessments (FBAs).
  • Communication and Community Partnerships: Develop and maintain regular communication with families and community partners, including participation in school and community committees.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete reports and documentation as required by administration, including cumulative folders and ongoing case files.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent, and a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills: Prior experience in a similar setting, with a strong commitment to quality education and production. Excellent organizational management and data disaggregation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set strategic objectives.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and training, including annual training and professional development requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in technology, including educational software and platforms.
  • Charter School Experience: Prior experience in charter schools or similar educational settings.
  • Community Knowledge: Knowledge of current community challenges and opportunities related to the mission of Paramount Schools of Excellence.
