Emergency Physician Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Physician to join our team at Bayhealth Medical Center in Kent Campus Hospital.
Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year based on experience.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires working nights with an 80-hour workweek. As an Emergency Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages arriving to the emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients.
- Evaluate patients to determine their condition in an efficient and productive manner.
- Request medical tests and follow a treatment plan.
- Develop effective patient care plans.
- Refer patients to specialists.
- Ensure patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department.
- Provide instructions for discharge and relevant paperwork.
- Maintain patient medical records.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure patients receive necessary treatment.
Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
- Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency.
- Physician MD.
- DEA Diversion Control Division.
- Physician - Controlled Substance Registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
