About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Servicer to join our team. As a Senior Loan Servicer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to servicing new and existing Commercial, Consumer, and Mortgage loans. This includes functions such as loan boarding, research, and problem-solving, as well as participating in projects at both the enterprise and department levels.
You will work closely with peers to achieve optimal results and identify opportunities for process improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately book new loans and modifications to the core system IBS, reviewing applicable loan documents and recognizing all necessary information for proper setup.
- Process loan payments, payoffs, and advances for Commercial, Consumer, and Residential loans, reviewing and monitoring quality assurance reports.
- Take ownership of problems escalated through internal and external sources, researching and resolving financial transactions impacting the bank's books and records.
- Participate in enterprise-level projects, interacting closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) as needed, and lead department-level projects with partners from across the organization.
- 5-7 years of work experience in loan servicing or related banking experience.
- Experience with system conversions, either as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or responsible for post-conversion monitoring activities.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and remediation practices associated with commercial, consumer, or mortgage portfolios.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles common to the banking industry.
