The anesthesia division at Children's Minnesota delivers a comprehensive range of anesthesia services tailored for pediatric patients across our surgical facilities. Our operations encompass both inpatient and outpatient procedures, ensuring a diverse case load that includes complex cases such as cardiac, neuro, Level I trauma, and neonatal surgeries.
CRNA Responsibilities:
Our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists play a crucial role in managing anesthesia for up to 15 operating rooms daily, contributing to over 19,000 surgical interventions annually. Additionally, CRNAs provide essential 24/7 support for our Level I Pediatric Trauma program. Beyond the operating room, our CRNA team is actively involved in various ancillary services throughout the healthcare facility.
