Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of preventive and routine maintenance tasks and repairs, including basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry work.
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures, maintaining focus until issues are resolved to minimize production interruptions.
  • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery efficiently.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including time spent on repairs and preventive tasks.
  • Maintain reliable attendance to support all operational areas.
  • Conduct facility cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Work safely at heights up to 30 feet.
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of production tools as necessary.
  • Support rack construction and tooling requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of trade school training or equivalent experience of at least 2 years is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Ability to perform repairs and tasks safely with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tag-out electrical and safety protocols.
  • Capability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
  • Basic welding skills using wire feed, TIG, stick, and torch equipment.
  • Competence in general math skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance record.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Capability to work independently with little or no oversight.

Wage Range: $ / hr (Dependent on Qualifications)
