We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Interim HealthCare in Novi, MI. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing personalized therapy to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy to patients who are unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient needs and develop goals to improve functional abilities
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on self-care and home safety
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and active OT license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently
