Ovation Rehabilitation Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Southfield, MI. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with various physical and cognitive disabilities.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and modalities to promote patient progress and achievement of functional goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and rehabilitation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Active state license as an Occupational Therapist is required.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably with a focus on geriatric or pediatric populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and teams.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
