Production Supervisor Lead

The Production Foreman is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production department. This individual will lead a team of employees, ensuring the efficient execution of production schedules, maintaining a safe working environment, and promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business objectives
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve production goals
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Train and coach employees on safety guidelines, company policies, and production equipment
- Monitor and improve productivity and quality management
- Collaborate with the Maintenance department to facilitate equipment repair and maintenance
- Coordinate manpower requirements to meet changing production demands
- Recommend measures to improve safety, production methods, and quality of product
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a foreman or in a production leadership role
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to implement improvements
- Previous experience managing a medium-sized team of employees (10+)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to coordinate complex workflows across multiple departments
- Initiative, sense of urgency, and self-motivation
- Ability to coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees in a respectful manner
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in steel fabrication
- Progressive advancement in previous positions
