Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

At Samuel Contract Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and implementing the provision of healthcare services. This includes supervising nursing staff, managing clinical operations, and developing care plans. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Manage clinical operations, including developing care plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Conduct patient rounds and address complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare reports and statistics to document department activities.
  • Participate in quality and process improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in addiction nursing, with a strong background in clinical operations and leadership.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License and CPR certification.
