Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy robust, secure cloud infrastructures utilizing AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Create automation scripts to streamline the deployment and management of cloud resources.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and best practices within the cloud ecosystem.
- Monitor cloud services for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Provide expert guidance to development teams on integrating applications with cloud infrastructures.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and features in AWS or Azure to continuously improve our cloud capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, accompanied by over 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Cloud Systems Engineer or Architect, with a strong emphasis on AWS or Azure platforms.
- Profound knowledge of core AWS/Azure services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, or their Azure counterparts.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with networking principles (DNS, TCP/IP) and cloud security best practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous.
- Experience in a DevOps environment utilizing tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Background in migrating on-premise applications to cloud environments.
- Expertise in Linux or Windows system administration.

Security Clearance:
Top Secret clearance is required for this position.
