Position Overview
The RN House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient care operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the assigned facility. This role includes fulfilling established competencies during the introductory period and performing additional related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications for the Position
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 3 years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Preferred: Additional relevant experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Required: Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
Preferred: Additional certifications may be beneficial.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification upon hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
