Job Title: ERP Business Process, Senior Manager Order to Cash

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Order to Cash workstream, driving business process improvements and harmonization across our organization. As a key member of our RTX Corporate team, you will be responsible for optimizing and integrating various functions to streamline and enhance the efficiency of managing customer transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business process improvements for the Order to Cash workstream, focusing on proposals, contracts, pricing, order management, invoicing, accounts receivable, and customer management.
  • Partner with Digital and business units to evaluate and implement SAP and other tools that complement/enhance process optimization.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads to analyze recommendations for blueprinting to enable strategic goals identified in Global Design.
  • Maintain Business Process Hierarchy and project plans for assigned responsibilities.
  • Lead planning activities to establish scope, timeline, and resource plan for assigned order to cash business processes.
  • Drive the execution of blueprinting activities, including defining global process designs, standardizing metrics, and reporting.
  • Partner with business units and system integrators to plan and execute activities for various phases of the project.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Experience with large-scale system implementation projects.
  • Experience with SAP, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and other applicable software.
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry and the Order to Cash business process.
  • Ability to communicate with parties within and outside of own function.
  • Ability to influence others to accept job function's view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Ability to communicate with executive leadership.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cross-functional knowledge of multiple work areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with aerospace and defense experience.
  • CORE (or equivalent) and project management expertise.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration between Record to Report and Order to Cash.
  • Familiarity with critical hand-off points between Order to Cash and Plan to Deliver.
  • Work effectively in a matrix and team environment, collaborating across lines of business and function.
  • Scope and effectively manage multiple activities concurrently.
  • Align and translate strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans, and deliverables.
  • Identify critical organizational issues and root causes, providing objective, practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and deliver sound, persuasive business cases that result in leadership action.
  • Work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Effectively lead and manage change.
  • Guide and influence at multiple levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Present well and synthesize complex information into easy-to-understand visuals and text for all-level audiences.
  • SAP knowledge and prior implementation experience.
