About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Security Engineer to join our Product Security Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure software solutions that protect our customers' sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure software solutions that meet the highest industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and maintain security tools and services to support our product development teams.
  • Provide expert security guidance and training to our development teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software security engineering.
  • Deep understanding of authorization strategies, including role-based authorization and attribute-based authorization.
  • Experience with building high-availability distributed systems and services.
  • Experience with applied cryptography, including envelope encryption, AEAD, and ECDSA.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, with a desire to learn server-side Kotlin.
  • Experience with technologies such as Open Policy Agent, GraphQL, gRPC, Google Tink, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Traefik is a plus.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $280,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including stock equity, health insurance, and retirement savings plans.
